my cat is exactly the same. It's just a spot that some cats don't like to be rubbed in. My other cat also hates his feet or tail being touched!!! i had a cat when i was younger that hated having its chin and neck touched.... strange hey? i guess though that they are like us humans, we also hate having parts of our body being touched, some hate there ears, feet etc. I really don't think it's anything to worry about, if she lets you pat her every where else then do that the. Good luck.

If she has been spayed, she is likely sensative in that area. My cat loved to be brushed and she would lay, endless hours for you to brush her........until you got to her tummy. Ever since she was spayed, she hated to be brushed there. She didn't mind so much that I touched her, but anyone else could not even touch her tummy. She would literally hiss and spit at the brush if it came anywhere close to her belly. I would tend to think this is normal unless she acts strange at other time. Make sure she is eating, drinking and moving about like normal and if this is just an isolated thing (when you touch her belly), then I would definitely say that she is sensative there. If it gets worse or you think it is a problem, or you can feel a lump or something there, she needs to go to the doctor.

Many female cats who have been spayed do not like their tummies rubbed. The surgery to spay cuts nerve endings in the skin and makes the skin very tender. There may also be tingling or numbness over the scar. One of my cats had a mid-line incision and could not stand to have her tummy rubbed. My other cat had an incision made off to the side and she loves to have her tummy rubbed.

It really depends on Holw long she has been doing this. Have you always rubbed her tummy and she ejoyed it? If so then she may have a hernia or a rupture there. If you see no evidence of asore outside the body . My cat tries to bit me if I rub her rear end or tummy . Why ? because she hates it. My cat only allows me to pet her head and upper neck.As soon as I go lower she Nips at me an runs....Hope you find out the problem .

This sounds like that is an abscess, and it has burst. Abscesses reason infections, so this can properly be the reason your cat is being 'lazy'. that is quite like us with a cold or flu we do not opt for to do something except lie in mattress. even as an abscess bursts most of the pus comes out and it may look fantastically terrible and would bleed plenty and a cat will straight away commence cleansing the realm. If it continues to be very pink, bleeding and they pusing gained't quit take him to a vet asap. contained in the period in-between the most suitable element you need to do is bathe the realm a minimum of three cases an afternoon with warmth salty water utilising a cotton swab. it will be effective to have a glance to work out if there's a overseas merchandise contained in the wound as it really is between the the reason why abscesses commence. wish he will be ok. merely save bathing it.

A lot of cats don't like their tummy rubbed. But if she's acting like it causes discomfort, you should contact a vet just in case, especially if this is something new and she used to enjoy it.

the tummy is the most vunerable spot on a cat. many of them don't like anyone messing with their tummy. i heard that if you have a cat, and it rolls on it's back exposing it's tummy to you, it is showing that it trusts you

Okay. If she has these symptoms, she could hate you.
--When you try to pet her on the back, she runs away
--When u go near her she runs away.
If none of these are right, then here are some things that could've happened.
--Does she have a bruise or spot on her stomach?
-- Has she ate anything weird?
If none of these are the answer, e-mail me or IM me. I'm open anytime. Also in the e-mail, include anyother symtoms that have happened.
