I have really coarse hair and I have tried almost EVERY conditioner there is.. The trick isn't the conditioner its the way you rinse it.. its not easy but I use a VO5 condition in Green Tea and when I wash and the put the conidtioner in, I make sure the rest of my body is rinsed and then I slowly turn the water to cold.. the colder the water the shinier and more manageable your hair will be.. However if you are afraid of the cold then best thing to do is use a TreSemme conidtioner.

Hot oil treatments once a week.

Very deep conditioning treatments smooth rough hair..

But if by rough you mean the ends are broken and it feels like straw, then you need to get a good haircut to trim the ends to make them silky and smooth. Then try a shine treatment by Clairol.

Sun Silk is amazing, and afordable. but if you have a little more spending money you should but the hot oil treatment, they sell it at shoppers, and most other drug stores. Its really good, its a deep penetrating conditioner that really helps your hair.

I used it, i bleached my hair so it was in really bad shape and the sun silk and hot oil treatment really improved it.

Deep conditioning treatments work. Garnier Fruictis or Pantene work the best.

Try using hair gel or go to the store and ask the clerk about your frizzy hair problem and they will show you what you need.
