why would you give me your #, ask me to get together with you and then answer your phone once a month and never make an effort to see me?

Okay. As mean as this may sounds, well, actually, there are a couple of reasons for your situation. Well, one reason is that she felt bad for you and so she gave you her number. Another reason may be because if someone were to give you their number, maybe they want you to make the effort. Set everything up, pick them up, drop them off, and tell them where they're going. But if they only answer their phone once a month, maybe they are busy. You never know with girls, we can be very busy and or confusing. Or maybe she's just trying to play hard to get.

Because women have been told to play hard to get and some believe that's still the way to get a guy. Don't waste your time with this gal.

if it was after the date then she didn't connect with you if its before the date then she might just be a busy woman

to be nice/polite. some girls may do it becasue it would raise their self esteem to tell a guy that they know wants them, and yet not really be interested. i think thats stupid, but i know girls that do it.....im very sorry :(......you will find better.
