I've often wondered what God is asking me to do. I know Jesus said: If you love me you will keep my commandments. To the best of my abilities I have done that and love the Lord with all my soul.

After much prayer and thinking about what God is asking me to do...the number one thing he wants of me I thought was to be a good person, to study his word, to do his will to seek after the things of God...ALL of these he is asking me to do BUT.......

I have come to understand that the number 1# thing he wants me to do is to, get in his presence.
I really feel God is saying the my calling is to "Get into his
Presence"
Maybe that sounds a little out there....does anyone else feel this way?? Am I out there or off here...that's what I am hearing.....what do you think?

Stop and think for a few moments about the answers you received from your question atheist and Christians read everything carefully and really think to yourself which of these two groups showed the most concern, which of these two groups would you really want by your side in times of real painful need? Then pray to the Christian God for help with your REAL problems!!!!!!! GOOD DAY.

I would suggest you visit a seminary, and see if this is what God is asking of you, and you need to ask yourself would I be committed to the life God is asking of me, if your heart is truly with God then he will guide you to make the right choice for you. In my catholic faith I know the church needs those that are committed to God. may God bless you.

We are her for God's pleasure and for His purpose. Jesus did not come to heal everyone and talk to everyone. That is why we all have our little tasks, if we just do them, we have done what God wants us to do.

I feel God's presence. Especially when I pray and study His Word. I love to sing to Him and worship Him. He is with us, that is His promise and He is in promise keeping business.

God wants you to read "The God Myth" and study the Theory of Evolution.

Maybe go to seminary and become a pastor? I really couldn't tell you that. 1) B/c I don't know you. And 2) B/c I'm sure that's a personal thing. But my advice to you would be to pray about it.

God bless you.

No, it's not "out there" If He wants you in His presence find a place where you can be in His presence.....He may have something for you to do later that requires you to spend time in His presence now so you are full when the later comes.

well God calls all of us to tell others of Him. Just find your way of doing it. You decide. Just ask yourself it God would like it. And pray to Him for guidance. He might not march up to you and tell you, but He will let you know & give you great opportunties. You just have to know when it is there.
