I have just started seeing a guy. I like him as a person and we have had sex, but I don't want to rip his clothes off? Is this normal? In past relationships, I haven't been able to keep my hands off people.

I should add, it's not that I don't think he's good looking, because I do!

it is very possible.
my boyfriend is the total opposite of what i usually go for (in looks) when we first met i found him interesting and he made me laugh. i thought he was attractive in a way but not enough to 'rip his clothes off'

weve now been together for four months, and i think he is the most gorgeous guy in the world, he has an amazing smile too!

i miss him when hes not here, i miss his voice, his smile, his hugs, just his presence. and i live for the next time i will see him.

we have the most amazing sex life ever :) and i do want to 'rip his clothes off' everytime i see him.

so .. in answer to your question. yes you can. just give it time :)

I think it definately is possible to grow attracted to someone.

It sounds like in the past, the guys you've been with have been just looks. Maybe this guy has something deeper that you like, which will probably keep you together for longer because its not just a sexual thing.

At the start of mine and my bf's relationship, i was the same. I didn't want to rip his clothes off etc, but now i can't keep my hand off him because i like him so much, not for looks but because i like him so much as a person.

I think it just shows maybe that your relationships are getting more indepth and aren't just physical anymore.

guess that depends on you. Do you feel the need to rip people's clothes off when you are dating them? or is this person just a bit more intellectual that his presence stops you? or are you just not into him like you have been with other guys? Normal, is what is normal for you, not anyone else. Ask yourself what is different about this guy and why you don't get the urge to rip his clothes off like you did with other guys?
or maybe, Your own feelings about relationships is changing you.

I think you need to want to rip his clothes off. If you don't really fancy him, then it will never happen, because you will always be searching for that missing spark and probably didn't really feel completely satisfied when you did have sex with him. Its nice to be in a relationship with someone who you really like and be liked back, but why cant you have it all. Good luck

Lust can dictate whether you want to rip someones clothes off, but you may really get to like, love and find this guy attractive as your relationship grows

Personally i think its a good thing you don't want to rip his clothes off because it is obvious you need a break from the fast lane.

well yes it can grow as i have been in this exact situation. I have been out with a just a few men but there was one i did not want to. yes we had sex but i was never in a rampant mood with him.
it was weird but over time i noticed little things about him, his body and personality that got me in time wanting to rip his clothes off. my answer is yes it can grow.

hmmm.. well, i think it is possible. sometimes personality can overpower someone's lack of looks. plus, if u are in ur late teens or early 20's, his appearance could change too.
however, if you feel absolutely no physical attraction to this guy whatsoever, I really don't think it'll work out. without any physical attraction, any couple relationship will eventually end (unfortunately)

Yes, Definatley!!

You will soon find that he is sooo attractive to you and you will see things inside him that no one else does.
Usually the unattractive guys are the ones that treats you better anyway so keep at him!

Yes, looks aren't the only thing that is attractive about a person.
