They are very sensitive to smells and your dirty laundry reeks of you. He likes the smell of you. Don't worry, a lot of dogs do this. Should I leave any dirty underwear or bras lying around, my dog will eat them. Be lucky your not having to constantly replenish your underwear drawer like I am.
Also, you don't need to try and punish him for that. Just keep your dirty clothes put away in a hamper and out of his reach.

My dog does this too. It's kinda like their form of being able to smell your butt. They're seeking out your scent. Lucky me, when my 70 lb lab finds a smell like that (or smells another dog), he drools like nuts!
My husband had a stupid mean little poodle who used to bite my underwear (thankfully not while I was wearing it!). Had to replace them all.

Let's just say that dogs have a different aesthetic than people. What smells and tastes good to them is very different than what we think tastes and smells good. Dogs eat all kinds of things we think are disgusting. It has your scent and he is into it. I'd suggest keeping it out of his reach.

In a nutshell your dog is a panties addict because of smell & taste - ensure you don't feed the addiction & keep them out of reach!

He likes the saltly taste.
That's the same reason a dog will like your face or hands. It's not out of affection, it's liking salt.

hha yeah they do that because like the smell of it. haha yeah it is really interesting to them. Don't worry my dog goes and ramshacks the garbage for pads. How do ya like that one.
