If so, you are a heathen in their eyes worshiping the wrong God. You shall not inherit heaven. Just as you they claim their beliefs are absolutely correct and have a thousand proofs. Why do you believe your religion is correct and theirs isn't?

Hi,
The Bible says there are many gods, and in fact says that all of these other gods are either made or put in the position of a god role by men. Allah is actually the moon god. Zeus was a Greek god who was fictional but none the less a man made god. The only God that you list that's real is the one people call Yahweh or Jehovah. Which are both incorrect spellings of the true God's name. The letters in Hebrew into English are WHVH, which should read or sound something like Ya-ha-veh.

Allah, Zeus, and Shiva do not exist, there is absolutely no proof for them, no matter what any of their "believers" say. Jehovah is not a proper name for God, and Yahweh, although it is closer than Jehovah, is not quite right either. The actual name in the Hebrew Bible is four letters, YHWH, with the vowels pointed in a way that makes the name unpronouncable to the lips of native English speakers. Plus, that name is actually considered by the Jews to be too sacred to say, so they actually say "Adonai," which is Hebrew for "Lord" instead of YHWH. So, to answer your question, I don't believe in Allah, Jehovah, Zeus or Shiva, but I do believe in YHWH.

I don't disbelieve the existence of Allah, Jehovah, or Yahweh (BTW: I think they are all the same god), and most Christians accept him. Personally, I reject those gods as the true god. I don't believe that anyone's religion is wrong, they are just wrong for me based on my own personal experiences.

Well i like to think of Allah, Yahweh, and the Christian God of the same person... Christians just also believe in Jesus, Muslims the prophet Muhammad, and Jews nobody else.

You really shouldn't stereotype Christians as all being exactly the same. But anyways Yahweh and Jehovah are names for the Christian God. Allah is simply the Arabic word for God. And in my opinion they are all the same God, different groups have just given Him different names.

Christians do not deny the existence of Yahweh, Jehovah or Allah.

Zeus or Shiva - never known any historical evidence they were real.

Whereas - there is historical evidence Jesus the Christ lived on earth.

YHWH is the tetragram of the Creator, Jehovah is another name for Him. Allah, sheva, zeus all come out of pagan heathenism. They are not the same as you suggest. We Christians worship YHWH, Jehovah. In the New Testament, These come to us in the Name of Jesus Christ. The Anointed Savior. Same God, All of the characteristics.

Allah- No
Jehovah- No
Zeus- Yes
Yahweh- No
Shiva-No (If you are refering to the period of morning for Jews)

Darn good question which is the correct G-d to worship.
Lets skip Zeus because I don't know of anyone still praticing that one.
Allah has the same roots as Jehovah and Yahweh.

Why do I believe mine is correct it is called faith.
When you step over into that arena of faith you can understand.
I can't explain it to you. That is something you have to experience yourself.
All I can do is tell you what I know to be true and let you decide.
It is up to you to choose not me.

Interestingly, pagans in the first century pretended that Christ's followers were Atheists(!) because the Christians had a somewhat different idea from the pagans about the nature of God.

No person can force another to think or feel differently, and it is not really his responsibility to do so. The bible teaches that those who work to ingratiate themselves with some human or human group are not doing God's will.

(1 Thessalonians 2:4) We speak, as pleasing, not men, but God, who makes proof of our hearts.

(Matthew 6:20,21) Store up for yourselves treasures in heaven... For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Jehovah's Witnesses have the true religion. They are Christian (of course), but they are unique for their rejection of paganisms, use of God's personal name, and global preaching by every active adherent. No other religious organization can claim such purity of worship.

These facts about Jehovah's Witnesses are perhaps relevant to this question. The more one compares this Christian religion with others, the more remarkable it is shown to be.

1. Jehovah's Witnesses have no paid clergy. Yet they remain tightly organized with more than 6.5 million active Jehovah's Witness preachers (about 16 million associate themselves with the religion). Even fulltime preachers and workers at their branch offices are unpaid volunteers.

2. There is no elite class among Jehovah's Witnesses. Even the few 'anointed' among them enjoy no special privileges in their congregations on earth. An anointed person (one of those relative few with a heavenly hope) is not elevated above his fellow congregants in any way, and he may not even qualify for appointment as a simple 'deacon' or elder. There are no titles; EVERYONE is addressed as 'brother' or 'sister'.

3. No person benefits economically from the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Even the 8 to 20 men who serve on their Governing Body receive simply room, board, medical care, and reimbursement for certain personal expenses according to the exact same provision as every other branch volunteer.

4. About a hundred men have served on Jehovah's Witnesses' Governing Body committee during the past 125 years or so. The vast majority of them have spent the vast majority of their adult lives volunteering for their organization's purposes, and the vast majority have died faithfully and near-pennilessly while still under their legal 'vow of poverty'.

5. Amazingly, Jehovah's Witnesses did not splinter as a sect from some other religion. Instead, a truly tiny but sincere group of bible students studied only the Scriptures to determine the will of God. Thus their religion remains absolutely independent of and not carrying the sins of Christendom's history, yet carries the authority of Christ's teachings.

6. Despite the distortions of anti-Witnesses, throughout their modern history Jehovah's Witnesses have refused to claim divine inspiration or infallibility for their teachings. They have pointed to the bible (and not any particular translation) as the only inspired infallible means of knowing God's thoughts. For over 125 years, their teachings have been presented as merely the results of sincere bible research by imperfect but godly humans.
