Lust is how you feel when the person is around you. How attractive the person is, etc.
Love is how you feel about the person when they arent around. Not the "omg i miss you i want you" its the things you like about the person, how often you think of them, and want to do things for them. Its the phone calls in the middle of the night, the roses at your door, etc. It's all emotion and passion minus the sexual stuff.

Lust is when you are in the heat of the moment and you are horny. Lust is an attraction. Love is something deeply embedded, love is something that takes time, love in on the inside. you love that person for who the person is, the personality and the heart. Love is unconditional meaning that the person could do anything and you still love them. Kind of like a Mother loves her son she will always love him regardless of the wrong he has done.
