i would have to say lots and lots of pain when you have bowel movements

According what kind of surgery you had done, there will be pain of course, and problems with bowels moving right for awhile, which they have probably put you on a stool softner for this, also a lot of gas will be expected, after you have been put to sleep , the bowels are sluggish, after any surgery.
