Here is one of their quotes:"The year 1925 is a date definitely and clearly marked in the Scriptures, even more clearly than that of 1914 ... we may confidently expect that 1925 will mark the return of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and the faithful prophets of old ... to the condition of human perfection" ("Millions Now Living Will Never Die," The Watchtower, 7/15/24, p. 89)

The witnesses have made their mistakes, such as observing man made holidays like Christmas, but they grew beyond that through study and hard work. Unfortunately, other religions remained the same or continued to decline to where now many give tacit approval to the idea that man evolved and was not created.
All you are doing is repeating old news about a religion that now exhibits far more qualities of the first century Christians than any other religion.
As for end of the world predictions, every religion has done that at one time or another, according to a program on today on the Discovery Channel. Many though Ronald Wilson Reagan was the anti-Christ as his names each had six letters.
Nitpicking gets you no where except making yourself look foolish. You might have a point if the witnesses follow the example of the other religions and just tried to keep their faith popular with the world, and not closely follow all the teachings of Christ, even the hard ones.
Of note on this one, the comments above disprove the Trinity, since if the Son was God, he would know the day and time.

May I ask, what does that prove? Jehovah' Witnesses have understand this to be a misunderstading on thier part, and they have ajusted their thinking in this respects. Consider the following article dated during 1925 some years later, when the light had grown brighter, (Prov. 4:18), acknowledged:
“Many of the dear saints thought that all the work was done. . . . They rejoiced because of the clear proof that the world had ended, that the kingdom of heaven was at hand, and that the day of their deliverance drew nigh. But they had overlooked something else that must be done. The good news that they had received must be told to others; because Jesus had commanded: ‘This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations: and then shall the end come.’ (Matthew 24:14)”—The Watch Tower, May 1, 1925.
Note: That the article made mention by YOU said nothing, even remotely, that God had reveal to them nor were they making a prophecy as God's prophets. They were speculating and so they realised the error in Biblical calulation.
Rather, as the events following 1914 began to unfold and the Bible Students compared these with what the Master had foretold, they gradually came to appreciate that they were living in the last days of the old system and that they had been since 1914. They also came to understand that it was in the year 1914 that Christ’s invisible presence had begun and that this was, not by his personally returning (even invisibly) to the vicinity of the earth, but by his directing his attention toward the earth as ruling King. They saw and accepted the vital responsibility that was theirs to proclaim “this good news of the kingdom” for a witness to all nations during this critical time of human history.—Matt. 24:3-14.
Yes, the year 1925 especially proved to be a year of great trial to many of Jehovah’s people. Some stopped waiting and went with the world. But has that stop the many now serving the true God, Jehovah? No.
The period prior to the second world war saw good expansion. From 1925 to 1938, the number of Kingdom proclaimers increased from about 250 to a peak of 1,427! The growth continues until now and Jehovah God has bless his people and so continues to allow his holy spirit to aid them in the 'preaching and teaching of the goodnews of the kingdom earth wide' (Matthew 24:14; 28:19, 20; Acts 1:8)
They are in 236 Lands. Their Watchtower & Awakes as well as other publications are read in 400 languages earthwide! Which makes it the only publication that is read in many languages.
Without a doubt, Jehovah's Witnesses are the only true Christians who continues to do work commanded by their Leader, Christ Jesus. Dispite what the media says. (2 Cor.4: 4)
A conference of religious leaders in Spain noted this: “Perhaps [the churches] are excessively neglectful about that which precisely constitutes the greatest preoccupation of the Witnesses—the home visit, which comes within the apostolic methodology of the primitive church. While the churches, on not a few occasions, limit themselves to constructing their temples, ringing their bells to attract the people and to preaching inside their places of worship, [the Witnesses] follow the apostolic tactic of going from house to house and of taking advantage of every occasion to witness.”—El Catolicismo, Bogotá, Colombia, September 14, 1975, p. 14.
Professour of religious history, Charles S. Braden (September 26th 1959) observed: “Even their church buildings are called kingdom Hall.” He continues: “Jehovah’s Witnesses have literally covered the earth with their witnessing…it maybe truly said that no single religions group in the world displayed zeal and persistence in the attempt to spread the good news of the kingdom than the Jehovah’s Witnesses.”
A Massachusetts newspaper, the Daily Hampshire Gazette, explains that Jehovah’s Witnesses’ “strict interpretation of the Bible forbids many activities others take for granted . . . , all in an effort to follow the example of first-century Christians and the word of the Bible.”
The Encyclopedia of Religion agrees that “all that they believe is based on the Bible. They ‘proof text’ (that is, supply a biblical citation to support) almost every statement of faith, taking for granted the authority of the Bible, which entirely supplants tradition.”
The book Religion in America states: “The group has never wavered from its focus on Bible study, and its teachings are supported by an elaborate system of references to scripture.”

I would love to have a copy of that Watchtower. It seems the only people who have it are NOT Jehovah's Witnesses. Neither I nor anyone I know personally was one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1924 so I wonder how it is that so many who are not Witnesses would possess this magazine since they they are not interested in obtaining more recent issues.

Because they are a cult that was trying to get new recruits. They also made a nother prediction in 1975, that failed and they tried to cover it up. And until about 2000 they said that the New system would come before all of the anointed ones (144,000) died but then changed it. I was raised as one but of course left after I did some research on the history of it.

The Pharisees asked Jesus similar questions for example at Mark 14:58 “We heard him say, ‘I will throw down this temple that was made with hands and in three days I will build another not made with hands.’. . .
Did that make Jesus a false prophet? Only to those who wanted him to looked on as such and perpetuate their own false teachings.
And there is a slight hole in the credibility of the wording of your well researched question as you must be aware that the organisation in question wasn't actually named 'Jehovah's Witnesses' until 1931.

Just guessing.
I think they made a prediction prior to that one also.
The Bible says that no man will know the day or the hour.
For anyone to do a prediction about that should bring them into suspect.
