I once did a lot of speaking to people from many walks of life. It scared me sometimes when people would look at me with big eyes. I had a reputation of being a wise person. For me I merely was speaking of that which I had learnt. I stopped my public speaking and became reclusive. I still am to some extent. The more I ponder the Quality of wisdom the more I believe that wisdom is inherent in all of us. We need only to look at the person inside of our self. My words are merely a vibration and will remain so until a person of wisdom hears. Look not outside your self for wisdom for you will not find it. Look inside and find the most amazing person imaginable
Walk in peace

Humans are creatures of contrast in whom wisdom and self-deception find their full expression. Wisdom doesn't come from contemplating our navels or simply from gathering information. As the wisdom literature says, "Get wisdom, AND with wisdom, get understanding. That is a process of both gathering (external) and synthesizing (internal).

I quite agree. I believe this is how Zen koans work. They simply unlock the understanding within us. The words are often unimportant. It is how we interpret them.

This is how the wise man sees truth in everything. The fool sees truth only where someone else points, whether it is truth or not.

wisdom has little to do with hearing and speaking i listen to my pastor but i get knowledge from him not wisdom, wisdom is using your knowledge. speaking to people and passing the knowledge on to others is wisdom.
