No, it's supposed to be a holy union of two people and their love. It's also how people have kids and children are one of the greatest joys. Two people loving each other makes God happy and isn't a sin, if they do it purely.
I found these verses online when I searched sex in marriage:
First Corinthians - Chapter 7:2-4
2. Since there is so much immorality, each man should have his own wife, and each woman her own husband.
3. The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband.
4. The wife's body does not belong to her alone but also to her husband. In the same way, the husband's body does not belong to him alone but also to his wife.
Do your own online search and see what you find, see if that answers your question. Also, I don't think Jesus had sex with Mary and I don't think they were married. I think the people that say that are trying to discredit Jesus and the Bible and what so many people live for and believe in. I heard about James Cameron doing a show/documentary on this. I think he's just doing it to get people talking and so forth. I'd be interested to see what "evidence" he has but I'm gonna believe what the Bible says, not what the director of TItanic tells me. I saw a show saying that Jesus could have had sisters, and Mary could have been one of them. It was very interesting and some of it really made sense but that's just something we'll have to ask God when we see him...Good Luck!
[PS In respose to some the following answers...Mary was Jesus's mom, Mary Magdalene was a follower and one of the women who went to his tomb to wrap his body. People who know their Bible knew what she meant but I see your confussion. Also, where does it say Jesus was a Rabbi...in fact, I really don't think he was. He spoke out against the way the chuches and temples were practicing at the time, because they were greedy and not really teaching God's message, they were just trying to seem important and take people's money.]

If you are married to someone, and you have sexual intercourse with them, than it is ok, the Bible allows for that to happen. Now, as for the Jesus and Mary Magdalene being married part, the only texts that attest to that are the Gnostic gospels, which the Christian church declared as part of the 2nd Century AD Gnostic controversy, which was condemned as being heretical, which means against true beliefs, by the Christian Church. The Bible, who's texts were chosen by the Church as being true manifestations of God's Word to His people, does not testify at all to Jesus being married to anyone, especially Mary Magdalene. So, therefore, anyone who says that Jesus had sex with Mary Magdalene is a Gnostic and, therefore, a heretic in the eyes of God and His Church.

There is nothing sinful about sex between a husband and wife until it gets obscene, unnatural, unclean, or would cause pain. Such as sodomy or oral sex. Why can people get over the fact that there was nothing more than friendship between Jesus and Mary Magdalene. Jesus came to earth for two reasons, 1. To die a ransom sacrifice for the saving of mankind. 2. To preach the good news of God's kingdom while gathering the lost sheep of Israel.

you decide on question approximately purity, yet are soliciting for no offensive solutions. Boy, you're an optimist! upload: Is masturbation a "sin"? Masturbation has been seen impolite to do (or perhaps talk approximately) in public in almost each and every civilization prevalent to guy. the main substantial difficulty is that one in all those solid emphasis has been positioned against it as a public taboo that it has gotten a acceptance for being incorrect or a sin to do in any respect (which it is not). between the few biblical references to masturbation has been used to scare infants for millennia (into doing it in deepest). Genesis 38:9 (38:a million by way of 38:30 in case you decide on the full incest tale) tells the story of god killing a guy as a results of fact he refused to get his brother's widow pregnant. There are in spite of the incontrovertible fact that a number of actual risks in masturbations (no longer incorrect, yet be careful). nevertheless some human beings have faith being too lustful with the help of itself is undesirable there is no direct link between that and "sin" or incorrect. in assessment to the uptight Christians, many cultures which comprise the Jews celebrate intercourse while that's accomplished between a husband and spouse (even whether that's for relaxing and not for procreation). concentrated on your lust on a actual individual may be a difficulty. that's de-humanizing to think of of them as an merchandise. this could additionally bring about an un-healthful or unrealistic obsession. finally, it ought to, ultimately, bring about an lack of ability to have a relationship with a actual guy/woman. in the event that they belong to somebody else (husband/spouse BF/GF, what ever) which may be even worse. Coveting is wanting the ideal subject somebody else has. you won't be able to have somebody else's relationship! the suitable you're able to do is have one as solid AS somebody else's. (whether you dated that comparable individual, you will never have the ideal comparable relationship that they had with that different individual).

No, sex with a spouse is legal.
What the thing is with Mary is that Jesus is engaged to the church as a whole, and given certain scriptures having Mary ans the church as brides would disqualify him to be any one of authority in the church.

First yes you can have intercourse with your spouse and it is not a sin second Jesus never had intercourse and was never married and did not have children. He had a purpose for being born and that purpose was fulfilled and it was the will of God, its a shame that we carnal humans always have to add sex to everything, but its just the lust of this world which is the devil.

If they were married, then of course not, that's no sin (but He wasn't married).
Sex is for married couples. I notice that folks spend so much time proclaiming how awful unmarried sex is for the soul, but forget to exclaim the virtues of married sex.
When you are married, you can do it any way you wish, even hanging from the chandelier! lol You can do anything with each other that feels good to each other, that's the whole purpose of sex!

Heb 13:4 Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
it doesn't hold in the situation you are trying to get across with here though...in order for this to be, that would mean that Jesus would have had to feel "desire/lust"
He didn't
