Nazi's think that whites are the supreme race.
Abused children think it's their fault.
Skinny people can think their fat.
Beautiful people can think they're ugly.
Torontoians think the Leafs will win the Stanley Cup every year.
Muslims, Jews, Christians, all think they have all the answers and the one true God (or prophet).
Perception is a weird thing. We can take the experiences in our lives and turn it into basically anything in our own heads. People see so much "proof of God" in their lives, but really there's just as much proof there is no God.
People can make any belief system fit wonderfully with their life, but really in the end you're just fooling yourself.
I dare each one of us to step outside the box and look at life from a fresh perspective. And start to realize there's a good chance YOU ARE WRONG AND IT IS ALL IN YOUR HEAD! This goes for everyone, not just Christians so don't think I'm only going after you here.

You're totally right. Everything you said I agree with as everything comes down to a matter of perception. The part about the Maple Leafs cracked me up rotflmao.

God is not a matter of perception. God is God. I think it's time you recognize that. Maybe you should step out of your box and look at the world as if you were seeing it for the 1st time. Then tell me, what do you see? What do you feel when you look at a flower? Could a big bang have made that flower? That delicate little thing be made by something so rough? Or was that flower made w/ care?
There's so many more questions....and guess what.....I've asked them all.....and the answer was always the same for everyone of my questions: Only God could have done this.
God bless.

Hmmmmm. It is something to think about. This sort of thing reminds me of a parable I heard which goes on to say that God can be represented by a wall. All people have their own light which they need to see Him. Each light is different. Each light bearer perceives his or her light as the brightest and most revealing of the wall. But the wall is the same. The wall has always been here. It's just our perceptions which distort things.

as a jew, i can honestly say i have not now nor will i ever think that i have the "golden ticket" when it comes to spirituality. judasim is simply the path i choose to deepen my understanding of the universe, and when i study other faiths, philosophies, and ideas, i do so from a jewish perspective.
i agree that we all need to open minded, but if you insist on stereotyping and including in that argument things you know nothing about, it is you who are trapped in a box, and that is no place from which to make judgments about others.

I can see you are right about some things. But I know for a fact that God does exist and it is not just in my head.
When I was 12 I thought I was fat. I realize now that it was just all in my head. Abused children think it is their own fault because they don't understand why else they would be abused. I totally understand with that thinking. It is hard to think otherwise.

Ok, I stepped outside the box, thought that my beliefs may all wrong and there is no God, now what happens? And why would you care anyway?

Eh, you could be right.
I have no proof that mine is the 'right' religion. Still, it makes more sense to me than any of the others so it's what I believe.
I don't see how that harms anyone.

I'll think outside the box, but please, for your own safety stay inside of yours. Have someone check the lock ( on the outside ).
I don't know who else you're going after, but I can guess, noone, so long as you're locked in your box.
