I am thinking about getting Kicker DCVR122, these are two subs in a kicker livin loud box. they are 12", Have an Rms of 600 and peak of 1200, i have no idea what wattage of amp i need, and i could also use some recommendations for wiring kits, sorry im new to this, thanks

I would suggest a good 1500 watt amp at the very least with built in crossovers. make sure you ground it well or you'll blow the system. Also make sure that you cars alternator can pump out enough juice for the amp. if you have any for speaker adding to this make sure the OHMs on the system are balanced also. It's been awhile since I've built any systems, sure make sure you get a second opinion.

Go with the kicker 750.1 thats 750 watt rms and 1500 max thats good for these subs that is whats recommended with 2 kicker comp vr's by anyone

General rule is to match RMS ratings on your sub and amp. i would get a monochannel amp and wire it parallel to get sufficient power to both subs. If you want detailed info and wiring diagrams, crutchfield.com has a great tutorial and FAQ with all this stuff.

As for wiring, you would be fine with an 8 ga kit. Using poplular brand names should be fine like Stinger or Lightning Audio or Rockford Fosgate.

wut u need to do is run those seperatly. or u can run the off a mono amp. if i were u, id go with the kicker 1200 watt mono amp. its one channel, but u can wire both subs to it. plus u can get wire kits at anythign liek best buy or walmart.

go to ikesound.com and get a 1200 watt hifonics amp (mono) it will power those subs perfectly and its a well respected amp.
