I'd say 4 but the word "herd" implies far more organization and the word "cats" implies far more homogeneity than anything I have seen.
Not to mention the words "wildly", "stampeding", and "feral" which imply a level of activity far beyond that of most of us.

Ha...atheist movement??? Never heard of that. But I would say that most atheists are closely related to 3)a loose affiliation of people with common goals. Some of us converse on the internet but I belong to no atheist organizations.

None of the above.
There is no organization, affiliation or movement of atheism. Atheists are simply people who make noises in response to irrational beliefs.
There shouldn't even be a word "atheist." After all, we don't have words for people who don't believe that little green men from Mars are kidnapping our cattle. We don't have words for people who don't believe that Elvis is still alive.
Atheism is simply a personal choice to embrace reason.

There is a movement??? Wow. I havent been invited. I am hurt. I would be such a good conspirator, too.
Actually there may be some organized atheist groups, but I don't know anyone who is involved with them. If I have to choose I would say number 4, mainly because I like the idea of it. Can I be the black and white kitty with mittens?

The only thing common among atheists, is their unbelief. Everything else is upto the individual. I don't think the word 'atheist' should be capitalized either, since it is not a proper noun like 'Christianity'.
