Because when Hillel was alive it was known for all Jews to go to Hebrew school.But after he died it was made a Jewish law.And this is always said, but you don't have to have a bar mitzvah.Bar mitzvahs are only to celebrate coming to age.But spiritually the thirteen or twelve(girls) is already "bar mitzvahed".

Simple....don't do it if you don't want to....why are you asking that here? Why don't you ask a Rabbi? Or your Mother or Father?
EDIT: Wait a minute! I've just looked back at your other questions and you are not a Jewish "boy". You previously asked a question about why do Jews get so offended at the mention of the name of Jesus Christ...You chose as Best Answer:"Because they murdered him".
