If you know the publisher or where I can purchase an new addition with the extra chapters, I would really appreciate hearing from you. My Grandmother had one and now that she is deceased, my aunt wont let anyone see it. I'm interested in what the other three chapters are about, what they are named, and who wrote them if possible.

Go out and find the Oxford Study Bible it has books that are missing in the KJV. You can also buy The Lost Books of The Bible and that book has many more Biblical books.

The traditional German bible was Luther's and it didn't have any more books than other protestant bibles. The catholic, orthodox, and slavonic churches had more books (termed Old Testament Apocrypha) than the protestants. It is possible that she had a german translation from one of those churches.

Isn't that the catholic Bible? I think they have 1 and 2 Maccabees, and another book I don't remember, and I don't remember if there are any more. I think just 3 though.

It lists several, I'm not sure if it's what you're looking for.
