What state are you "In" ?, It all depends on what the state law is. In Arizona it is legal to have someone riding in the back of the truck as long as all the seats are taken up in the cab.

You can put anything you want in the bed of your truck except passengers in most jurisdictions. In a roll-over, a person belted in a seat in the bed of a truck would have the top part of his body crushed. It would be a very dangerous place to be unless you put a roll cage around the bed area. Buy a car and be done with it.

Not in California, but it is different from state to state. In some of the southern states it really doesn't matter in the rural areas, but in the cities it does.

sounds legal but just take it into the local police station and let them look at it and they will tell you if its legal or not.

it is illegal, truck beds were made for cargo, Not for people. if you need people room get a van or suv...
