I've never been kissed by a guy and i'm 14 years old. I started dating this guy last week and we're both going to this festival thing tomorrow and i have a feeling he's going to kiss me. Will it be awkward or what? god, that sounds so weird. lol. any help would be great...I've already asked my friends and of course they were no help.

Well I had mine like a month ago, and it was way awkward. I"m 13 and my friends like pushed us to do it. After thinkin bout it though it really wasn't that bad of a thing though. We've kissed since then and it was still a lil awkward but much better! I guess I just wasn't and still am not quite ready for kissing a bunch. Just don't let people force and be sure your ready. Trust me, it will seem awkward(unless it's like a really special moment and stuff and ur both ready) but really it's a sweet and nice thing.

Yes, it probably will be a awkward, but it will also be really sweet. Don't worry - first kisses are usually more of a quick-peck-on-the-lips, so don't feel like he's expecting some timestopping moment or anything. When the time feels right (or mostly right) and you're ready, then go for it. If he goes first, then just go with it. It'll be fast, but you'll be glad you had it. Hope he's a special guy. And don't worry about future kisses with him. It'll take time to learn how he kisses and how you kiss and how it works out together. That's normal for any new couple, no matter how old or young. :) Good luck!

Follow these exact instructions and you'll be all set.
(never know with him though!)
1. You'll know if he wants to kiss you if he is staring at you.
2. When he goes to kiss you DO NOT be like a deer stuck in headlights.
3. Just slightly pucker your lips and touch his.
4. I suggest you keep your tongue inside your mouth unless you
want his saliva all over your face.
(14 year old guys cannot french kiss, trust me)
Remember its just a kiss! You kiss your mom sometimes on
the cheek or whatever so just be calm and you got it!

One thing I could say is that once you kiss it will be a life changing experience your mind might change, and you might think differently but in a good way, you know cuz you just are starting to experience love.
