The bible prophesies about the divisions that now take place...that people will draw away the disciples for their own following. (Acts 10:29, 30 ... I know that after my going away oppressive wolves will enter in among and will not treat the flock with tenderness, and from among yourselves men will rise and speak twisted things to draw away the disciples after themselves)

However the first century Christians were encouraged to remain united in their beliefs and thoughts. (1 Cor. 1:10-13....Now I exhort you, brothers, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ that you should all speak in agreement, and that there should not be divisions among you, but that you may be fitly united in the same mind and in the same line of thought. For the disclosure was made to me about you, my brothers, by those of [the house of] Chlo′e, that dissensions exist among you. What I mean is this, that each one of you says: “I belong to Paul,” “But I to Apollos,” “But I to Cephas,” “But I to Christ.” The Christ exists divided.)

So how do I feel? Sad. There is only one truth, so there should only be one Christian religion.

I am glad we have freedom of religion and no one cares what or how you worship God. It is none of their business how I worship.
I don't want someone telling me when to pray, how often or even if I have to pray. My relationship with God is my own business.
I am so glad we live in a country without a bunch of control freaks who feel it is their Godly duty to tell others how to worship.
Either you worship God like I do or I have to kill you! That is just way to radical for me.
Everyone believes they are right and the only ones going to heaven. Whether it is Catholic, or Babtist, or Methodist.
Are the only ones going to heaven. Hell is for the rest of us.
Adventists, Mormans and Jehovah's Witnesses, believe in a paradise earth in which only they are there.
But the great part is we allow others the freedom to chose which way they want to serve God.
Just don't ask them about politics or religion, those views we keep private. Saves us from blowing each other up.

I feel that God judges you according to your faith. People use various names and methods to worship. As long as they are not corrupt or blasphemous, I am not sure that God has as big of a problem with this as we do. I know that a lot of people feel that their religion is the only true religion. I think that whatever religion that you are in, God will direct you in the manner which you should go, if you are truly seeking him.

Perhaps we should all revert back to the Orthodox church which started it all. But going back is impossible of course, so let's all just agree to keep true to our belief in Christ in whatever way we feel best, and pray we all meet up and agree on the other side!

Evolution. Everything evolves. The earth evolves, people evolve and their spirituality evolves. Every religion is evolving. The older the religion, the more evolved it is. If you don't believe me look at the Pagans. They have the Oldest Religion and there are almost as many Pagan groups as Pagans.

"He who is not against me is for me".The words of Christ ,when His disciples reported that they came across people who were casting out demons in His name.He forbid them from stopping those who were acting independently. You will also recall Jesus telling the pharisees that if they tried to stop the people from praising Him at the entry into Jerusalem;'the very stones would sing His praises',

Is bad that we've split from the original church. We already have over 30,000 denominations and more are yet to come.

I don't think there's enough of them.

If they keep dividing along issues of doctrinal hair-splitting, if you follow it logically, eventually there will be millions of separated churches of one...then we can just ignore them as lone cranks.

The schism is not that bad. If it allows more people to believe it is a good thing.

Well since Jesus directed Simon Peter to build his church, I can't understand what they are thinking!
