My 3 year old has been spitting when she's angry. Also she'll try to make spit bubbles. I don't want her doing either of these but it seems like reacting negatively to it makes her want to do it more.

She can speak and understand when I speak to her. She does this intentionally when she's upset. It's very disrespectful.

Explain to her that spitting is totally unacceptable when angry & in public. Let her know when & where spitting is ok (i.e.- when brushing teeth, etc) Also let her know that if she feels that she needs to spit she can go to the potty & spit there until she's done!

I have a three year old niece who spits all the time too and it's very icky. I try to tell her that she is spreading germs that can make other people sick and it's not nice to do it. of course it doesn't help that her mother allows her to do it and often spits back, but that's what i would do. If she continues to get hasty about it, get a spray bottle and when she starts to spit, spray her. She'll proably get upset, but then you can tell her that is how it feels when she spits and it hits people.
Good luck.

Spit in her face every time she does it and scream at the top of your lungs while shaking rock-salt on her. That'll stop her.
