Hi. I have a female cat who is about a year old now, and she in not growing. She looks like a siamese but I am not sure exactly what she is. I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of a cat staying small? She eats and everything but she hasn't grown for like six months, kinda weird! Also, do all cats eyes turn green cuz her's are blue? Thanks

Some cats are normally very small. Most cats will grow until they are ten months old but yours might not. I went to the animal shelter last week and was surprised to see more than one cat that I assumed was a kitten (five or six months old), but was full grown. So, I learned something. Also, Siamese cats have blue eyes.

I have a friend who has what I call a "miniature cat": this cat is several years old and weighs barely five pounds! Kind of like a permanent kitten :)
So yes, it's possible, and if your kitty seems healthy otherwise, she's just going to be a small girl.
At this age, her eyes will not change color. She is undoubtedly a Siamese mix, and Siamese cats always have blue eyes.
You sound like you have a unique and beautiful kitty!

I have 6 cats, their eyes = 4 have green eyes 1 brown eyes and 1 golden eyes. My first 2 are the mother and father of the others, one son is bigger than the father, 1 female is mid size =2 litters, 2nd litter both are small and wirey, but one of them of the first and 1 from the 2nd litter look like twins except for size.== So you see size means nothing or eye color. It depends on their heritage, this where size differs.

Yes some cat's remain little there entire lives. If you are really concerned take her to the vet for an exam.

Keep in mind that cat's take about 2 years to fully mature, and they do go through growth spurts.

I have a male who weighs 1.5 pounds soaking wet and is only 14 inches long Including his tail, and believe me he makes up in attitude what he's missing in size. ( our German Shepperd is terrified of him LOL)

Well, perhaps your kitty is just meant to be small. We have a cat that weighs only 8 lbs and she is full grown.
