It's unclear.
Science is mystified by why Dinosaurs vanished literally overnight. Ok, maybe it was 100 or 200 years, but that's incredibly fast. Imagine one day babies stop being born for some reason. That would kill off the human race in 85 years or so.
That's how fast it can take.
It is predicted we will run out of oil in 200 years. Thus CIVILIZATION as we currently know it will END THEN and we may fall back into primitive times.
Science says the sun will eventually die.
When it does and MAN has not mastered STAR TRAVEL, civilization will end.
In 1917 the Flu wiped out a huge portion of the world.
Somewhere between 800 AD and 1300 AD the plauge wiped out a huge portion of the world.
Some terrorist explodes an A Bomb what will the RESPONCE of the nation and the world be.
Will Global Warming not overtake us before oil runs out. Is 200 or 400 years enough time for the world the heal itself after man runs out of oil to run in plants and autos
Will nature, for some strange reason, activate 20 or more volcanos, a variety of Earthquakes and Sunami all in a short span.
There is NO reason be beleive this CAN'T HAPPEN.
It is believed the enitre population of Pompie fell pray to this.
The Bible states there will be dark skies, tremmors, lakes and rivers of fire.
These can occur naturally or from Atomic war or even conventional war.
The Bible says there will be a huge conflict between two sides.
The Biblical and the Scientific meet in the same conclusions.
The Dinosaurs met their fate, why we don't know.
Man may ultimate meet that same fate.
The chances are highly probably.
When is hard to say.
Without a plauge of massive proportions we WILL out consume our ability to produce somehwere between the year 2200 and 2500.
Between lack of food and oil it is possible there could be massive global conflicts between the HAVES and HAVE NOTS somewhere between 2100 and 2300.
What do you do if you're OPEC and the Oil Guage reads a hair above empty and you have no other economic resource to trade with.
What do you do if your a BREAD BASKET center and there is wide spread hunger among billions and billions in the world who all start marching towards your graineries.
It is coming, pending Scientific or Industrial changes that might set this agenda back a few centuries. But it is coming.
Long before the sun will burn out.

Jesus will come back and rapture His church. Then, there will be seven years of judgments (worldwide earthquake, demon locusts, MAJOR heat wave) to open the eyes of those who have not yet turned to Jesus. An Antichrist (a person posessed by the devil who defies God) will rise up during this time, and will set out after these seven years, sweeping through the earth and killing everyone who does not believe in him. Jesus will come back again in the Glorious Appearing and kill Antichrist and his followers and set up a thousand-year reign on Earth. After the thousand years, earth and heaven will be destroyed, and there will be a new heaven and earth. Read the Left Behind series by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins. Btw, I'm sorry if this doesn't fit your views, but it is going to happen.

We will just have mega wars.
There will be a couple people left over, just enough to repopulate earth.
Thousands of years later, resources will be plentiful, as trees, plants, everything grows over.
The cycle will keep repeating, human infancy in knowledge, growth, reaching maturity, over population, then,
Mass extenction. Humans will start all over again. And again.
Each civilization will be deluded with the thought that it alone is the one capable of reaching nuke powers.

I see 4 things
1. Jesus Comes back etc.
2. Global Warming Causes imbalance in weather cycle, and things get whacked
3. We live until the Sun Engulfs us or Explodes
4. Somebody gains access to several Viruses which we have no resistance too. And sets it upon the world.

No. You know that men live now 90% by his instincts. The intelect, brain and intuition are used only 10%!?
Do you whant to keep that?
God will show us how to grow up. We will be the same actors on earth with new harts, with spiritualy love.

We'll probably die out as a species. There was a discovery channel thing for that. But most life on earth goes with us. If that is any consolation to any sadists out there.

Eventually, everyone will waste so much of their time on Answers (like I do) that nothing will get accomplished. From there, we will all just waste away in front of our computers.
