That's like asking is Jesus is a Lutheran.
To Christians, God is Christian.
To Moslems, Allah is Moslem.
To Jews, God is Jewish.
Are there three, separate, monotheistic Gods?
Are there three different ideas of the same monotheistic God?
I think when a Moslem believes that the God a Christian worships is the same as Allah, that Moslem is closer to the truth.
When a Christian understands that the God a Jew worships is the same God that the Christian worships, that Christian is also closer to the truth.
When these three monotheistic factions fight and kill one another over the minutia of their faith, they are all very far away from God.
A very wise person once told me that the world's religions were like a giant wheel with spokes. In the center of all the spokes was God (Allah, Yahweh, Creator, Higher Power, Great Spirit - whatever name one wants to give) Each spoke represents a system of faith. As each person travels along the spoke of her/his faith, you will notice that the closer that person is to God, the closer that person is to all the other spokes. Conversely, the further from the hub that is God anyone is, the further away that person is from other people on other spokes of faith.
This makes great sense to me.
This, of course, depends on whether or not one believes in God.

God does not belong to an organized religion. Religion is humanity's attempt to interface with God in a manner that fits the values of the day. That's why there's several dozen flavours of Christianity, as well as numerous Mulsim sects, Hindu, Buddist, etc. religions.
God is too big to wear any one religion's hat. God is everywhere and everything to everybody.
I wish you peace, health and abundance and a better understanding of spiritual matters.

None of mine are. They are not middle eastern, and that is a middle eastern religion. We're Scandinavian.
Why would even the christian god call himself a christian, anyways? Would that mean he was following the teachings of his own son? And if you're a worshipper/follower of the trinity believing variety of christianity, would that mean he needs to abide by his own rules? If so, shouldn't he have stoned half your disobedient butts to death by now with all your divorces and charging interests on loans and mixing two kinds of thread in one garment? I know Christ was quite annoyed the Jews were not doing the whole 'stone 'em to death' thing.

Technically speaking, since Christian means Christ-like and God is Jesus' father, Jesus is like his father...not the other way around. Technically speaking. :-)

God isn't any religion. Religions are made to worship him. Christians/Jews/Muslims all worship God.
