The pimples are probably due to hormonal changes...you know, the typical adolescent thing. They may be primarily along your hairline because if you have any hair on your forehead, that may be sort of "trapping" oils there during the day. This is what is happening with my son. The pimples are on his forehead and bad along his hairline and also in front of his ears where there is also hair. The hair loss my unfortunately be hereditary, though it could also be stress related. Might want to talk to your doctor about that. But with regard to your complexion, try Acne Free. You can get it pretty reasonably at Costco. It a 3-step process like Proactiv, but MUCH cheaper. Same ingredients. It worked wonders for me and other people I've known when nothing else did. I have my son using it, but you have to be consistant. Good luck!

Is your hair naturally oily? IT could be that your hair follicles are getting clogged with oil causing your hair to fall out and that the same oil is also causing the pimples around your hairline. I'd suggest taking to a dermatologist. I don't know if they can make the hair come back in the clogged follicles but they can prevent more from falling out and do something about the pimples.

Hi,
Dont use the big brands, cleansing, toning and moiserising is the best way to get rid of those nast spots, and could help you out around the hairline. Its always a good idea to use some sort of cover up aferwards....
I've tried a number of things-ive found as i didnt have that many it best not to go mad on things (i.e using too many products), ive used most of them and none of them seem to do anything for me. I never usually go for cheap things but recently i just brought the (Tesco, Vitamin E [[Clenser]]), this has made my skin so much better, and has cleared up some of them spots. I would reccomend that at the moment [[Cleanse, Tone and Moisterise]].
Good Luck

This is most likely to be caused by the fluctuating level of hormones in your body. You said you have kids - this means that oestrogens in your body are going up and down, causing imbalance that leads to acne. I recommend you should go to the dermatologist and discuss your situation with him/her. If my guess is right that your acne is caused by hormones, you will probably be prescribed b/c pills or Accutane (if your acne is bad). Anyway, you SHOULD NEVER pick at them. Apply some OTC topical acne cream that contain benzoyl peroxide or sulfur in them after washing your face twice a day. Your facial wash should contain either BP or salicylic acid in them. If you are uncomfortable with them when out in the public, all the more you should consult a doctor. Conceal them with a good foundation, concealer and loose powder. Make sure they are non-comedogenic. I can't really help you with your OCD - you have to consult a shrink for that. I know it's tough. Beauty transcends physical appearance. Consult a dermatologist before acne scars you for life. But most importantly, exude confidence in yourself! Good luck!

This may be the result of wearing your hair pulled back too tightly on a regular basis.
