I have had to do something similar to this in many of my communication courses in college. First thing, pick something you are completely passionate about such as a favorite band or musician, food, restaurant, school club, sport etc. Then talk about the actual thing and explain why it is so important to you. For instance if you love a particular sport, explain how the game is played and who your favorite team is and why. Also practice practice practice. Do it by yourself a few times, one or twice in front of the mirror. Lastly, have someone time you when you do it for them. If you go over 3 minutes, edit it and repeat. There is nothing as bad as going over the allotted time, it could hurt you in the long run! Good Luck!

I wish we knew what class this was for... coming up with a topic would be easier! How about Bernouilli's principle and how wings create lift as a topic?

talk about child labor. this is always a poignant topic that is sure to strike some chords.; but yes, it would be a lot easier to reccomend topics if we knew what class this was for.
