Both these boxers arent usually rated that highly when the subject of ex world heavyweight champions comes up. But both of them despite lacking in other areas actually had really good boxing skills, over 12 rounds who wins.

Interesting match up. We all know what Buster can do when he's in shape and motivated. If the same Buster that showed up in Tokyo against Tyson goes up against Bruno, then i'd have to pick Buster. Buster had a good jab and right cross and he could box and move and that would give the much slower, methodical Bruno a lot of trouble. Buster had good hand speed for a big man and he would beat Bruno to the punch all night. Bruno had good power so he definitely would have a puncher's chance, but at the end of the day Buster's overall skills would be the difference in this fight and i see him winning by a 9th round TKO. Good Question!

If Buster Douglas came out and fought Frank Bruno the way he fought Mike Tyson he would win and probably by a knockout. Both are pretty big fighters with good jabs but I believe Douglas has a better jab than Bruno and also has better footwork than the rather mechanical yet powerful Bruno. I believe that this would be a close fight for 8 rounds with Douglas's jab causing swelling to Bruno's eye causing it to close. In round 10 of a very competitive and close fight Douglas stops Bruno by TKO.

I think Bruno would outbox Douglas and I think Douglas's heart would give in and he would quit late in the fight. either in the corner, or go down and willingly not get up. I just never felt Douglas had the heart, other than against Tyson, and that came from the motivation of his Mother's death and dedicating his effort to her. Bruno out boxed just about everyone he faced, but his chin failed him, and I don't think Douglas would have the punch to Knock Bruno out.

I would have to say Frank Bruno. Douglas hade one glory moment when he beat tyson. If you look back to that fight as well. He really didnt even win that one. Tyson knocked him down for longer than 10 seconds. the ref counted way to slow. Then he showed up for the next fight way out of shape against Holyfield. Douglas was a true bum. At least Frank Bruno kept himself in shape.

The in-shape, mentally prepared Buster that defeated Tyson would have beaten MOST heavies from any era. Defininitely THAT Buster would have won. Too bad Douglas couldn't get to that level more than once; could have been an all-timer.

If Bowe is centred and in structure, he wins. Tyson lost virtually each aggressive wrestle he become ever in (the Tucker wrestle become the only exception). If he's pushed, he folds. Bowe does no longer lay down and had the chin to soak up Tyson's images. Bowe via overdue stoppage. of route, if Bowe trains via operating to McDonald's two times an afternoon, Tyson would win.

IN THIS BOUT, I TAKE BUSTER IN A 12 RD MAJORITY DECISION.

P. S. TO CLARIFY A POINT, WHEN THE REF COUNTS TO TEN (IN REAL TIME MORE THAN 10 SECONDS COULD PASS AND THIS HAPPENS ON A REGULAR BASIS.).
