I get an error message stating i am missing \system32\hall.dll. I tried chkdsk on the recovery console and nothing works what can i do. I have a windows xp disk.

I downloaded that dll file to a floppy now how can i get it to work on the other comp?

the copy command from a:\ to the c:\windows\system32\ is access denied.

Sorry dude, you're screwed. You will have to reinstall Windows.

One of the files needed for the computer to operate has corrupted u will have to install a fresh copy of windows.

why don't you try downloading it and dropping it straight in to that directory you can get it here
