Okay on dogs what to you do when they go in heat is there somein like pads besides dipars?I have never had a dog and was just wondering!

You can actually get pads and panties (the one I got my dog was black vinyl and looked a bit S&M) and some dogs will wear them and some won't. I have 2 female dogs, my terrier went under the bed and would have stayed if I hadn't taken it off. My maltese is fine with wearing it. Their attitudes also match the reactions...maltese is very good natured and willl put up with almost anything. If you got the female used to it young, it'd probably be ok. The are pretty cheap and sure save on mess and odor!

if you go to petsmart or petco or something like that they have diapers for your females... they have ones for potty training and ones for inheat females... like i got a material one and i bought some pads and i change the pads out every couple hours... it works wonderful and i've never once had a mess... they do have an oder though... thats just part of it! they work wonders..... if your not breeding your dog then the best bet is to fix'em... dogs being in heat that can last for WEEKS... also the males can pick up the scent from a long distance so don't be surprised if your female goes outside to find a male close by!! be careful and watch out for them or you'll end up with a pregnant dog!!

Usually female dogs are spayed before their first heat. If the dog is not spayed before her first heat, there are diapers for them, or the owner will keep them in a specific room in the house so that the whole house isn't a mess.

Most pet stores carry special belt type contraptions that hold special doggie pads for when they are in heat. Or you could buy some cloth diapers and cut a hole for her tail.

Most people get their dogs fixed to avoid this problem. But yes you can buy dog pads at some pet stores.

I went to walmart and got the cloth diaper panties and cut a hole out in them for the tail. They are durable enough to wash and prevent chewing, and they are really cute. My dog left them on without a problem

Depends on the dog. My dogs are papillon/chi crosses and they both keep themselves really clean. We never would have known they were in heat if it wasn't for their attitude changing and the swelling.

Yes, they give u a pad and a tiny underwear that is for dogs only
