I'd keep them separated. I don't know if the male will eat the puppies, but the female probably wants as much privacy as possible. Having the male jumping around barking would just cause her stress.

I was wondering ....you said two mommies. Is two females having puppies at once by one dog. I hope the male is DNA tested. Never have any dog near a female when she is having puppies nor let animals get neat the puppies after they are born. If she thinks her puppies are in danger she might hide them from you. My female won't let any of my dogs next to her puppies until they get older.

You need to get all dogs away from each other while they are whelping..That should be really common sense. It just amazes me you ask this question and you were putting the dogs together.

More than likely no. However pay attention to him and mom to see what their temperament is like. I have hear of it happening usually because the daddy is jealous of the new editions. On occasion though the mom may get upset with daddy being around and kill them herself out of wanting to protect them. Not to scare you but it happens. The good thing is that they generally give you enough indication before hand to be able to respond appropriately.

as quickly as the female is pregnent you should seperate the male from the female. i understand you do no longer choose to yet you could have not got any decision. you in addition to could ought to seperate the boys from the ladies if no longer brother and sister or father and daughter will breed together. they are animals so as that they don't understand the wellbeing issues and don't understand its incorrect. as quickly as the toddlers are the comparable length as a results of fact the daddy then you definately can positioned the male toddlers in with the daddy. however the ladies choose a seperate cage from the boys. Animals act on impulse and that they don't understand there are wellbeing threat with breeding with their relatives. in case you do not have the time and money to look after them ideal then you definately shouldn't breed them. that's totally puzzling to rehome the toddler hamsters. And all them litters at the instant are not healthful for the mummy hamster. To many litters can kill the mummy and ladies can breed at like 4 weeks of age. women could desire to easily be housed with different women. And men could desire to easily be housed with different men. until your making plans on breeding them. you could desire to easily breed in the journey that your an experienced breeder. And in case you have already got residences waiting or if no longer, which you have sufficient space, time, and money for the toddlers. while the ladies attain a sertain age they ought to no longer have toddlers cuz there may be issues with delivery. you won't choose to yet you could have not got the different decision yet to seperate the male. If no longer the boys will save on impregnating the ladies.

Some will harm the pups some will not. Most females will not take the chance will attempt to kill the male for existing in the same area as the pups. That can lead to trouble- seperate them

you have to let him out sometime, eh? just like lions, if a new male comes on the scene and chases off the old king, he kills all the kits. they want their genes to rule. dachies are kinda that way except they have been overbred and they get doofus and chomp on their own pups. i had a couple. cute sweet dogs except they are not the sharpest pencils in the box. kinda messup.
