hey peeps i really need to ask u this cos i cant seem to come up with an answer....the last time i had a relationship was almost two years ago with a really great guy but he had to return to his country no hang ups about that...my problem is that im not feeling guys at all or no one seems to measure up i feel that im a queen and worthy of being treated as such dont know am i asking for too much or is this my defence mechanism for not getting involved??? questions questions

I feel the same way. It's weird its like the guy are not worth our time. [Most the time they really aren't.] But I get what your saying, I think we'll both grow out of it.

hi i think you may still have hangups about the gentleman you had connections with,
could he be the reason? You say you should be treated like a queen, think about that.
Many guy's could feel intimated by you. We all want the best that life can offer but sometimes we can become so involved in our own little world that we forget there are other nice guy's around.Don't let your emotions override what is most important to you, get out there and find your prince charming!! Be positive but most of all take real good care of yourself.

When it is the right guy you will know. Trust your "defense mechanism" for now! You are worthy of being treated as a queen. At least until you are married! Then it is back to the peasant life.

Don't get too high of an opinion about yourself..... I doubt your perfect. As far as no one measuring up...... if you set the bar too high, it's possible that no one can get over it. You would seriously limit the number of people you might date. Remember, you might have to kiss a few frogs to find a prince.
