Like it says above, My girlfriend is into that really complicated science stuff... and... im not. She has a friend, Matt, who is into it as well and sometimes I wish that i could join the conversations that they have on the subject, but I've tried to study up on the stuff, but it's really pointless. She is smarter than I am and I can deal with that but I'm not sure that we have much to talk about that she is interested in. She always seems bored when we talk on the phone. She cant keep a conversation well. yet, i feel that if i had something to talk about with her it wouldn't be so bad. what do I do to make things better?

Try out what she likes, and see if maybe you develop some sort of an interest in order to keep conversation lively. Also, add some stuff you like, TV shows, exercise, and sports, and maybe you'll find some more commonalities. Or, when you get together with her, try and do something/an activity that doesnt require alot of talking, like some amusement park (i don't know..) but can help you bond so you can then improve the relationship. If all else fails, then maybe you should really consider if you honestly feel comfortable with her...if you can't even hold a conversation.

I understand you completely! My husband is a Surface Nuc in Electronics for the Navy. When we first met almost 8 years ago, I didn't have a clue what he was talking about and would do everything to try and learn what it is he does so we could have a conversation.
Here is what I suggest, sit and have her explain to you a little at a time what it is she does. She may give you words you never heard of, but eventually you will understand more, and the conversation will get better. :)

a great no. besides, the government will flow on with its plan as commonly used as quickly because it has its suggestions onto something. i think a particular committee had already been set up years in the past to examine if making use of nuclear capacity is obtainable for Singapore. conversing approximately situation, the 1st question that spring to suggestions is: a million)Is it needed? 2) Is the government going to deal with the undertaking or the undertaking being tendered out to own corporation, which will carry approximately fee situation for the capacity generated? 3) Any subsidy; because it somewhat is riskier for citizen, the bill could desire to be extra value-effective.. I nonetheless think of that the Singapore government in simple terms choose to place Singapore on the map back because of fact the 1st asian united states of america that effectively utilise nuclear capacity to actual capacity the economic device forward. Thats the excellent thought in the back of it, a minimum of thats what i think of. Singapore is making an attempt its very difficult to be the 1st in each and every little thing, i don't be attentive to why it somewhat is so. according to danger the term 'kiasu' performs an element. conversing approximately expert coping with the nuclear plant if the government decide directly to flow forward with the plan, for those of you who're naive sufficient to ask this, here is the respond. back, i think the government had already sent a pair of fellows over to its allies with nuclear plant to learn the ropes. If push come to shove, Singapore will do what it somewhat is powerful at, import distant places expertise. end of sermon.

You shouldn't have to make yourself be interested in that science stuff just because your girlfriend likes it. If she dosen't like you for who you are shes not worth liking. Do something or talk about something you BOTH like. Does she like sports? Does she play an instrument...,ect..?

ask her to explain it to you. Ask her questions about it; that should start up conversation and it shows you care.
