Hi i am 27 and my gf is 18. We really have a good time when we are together even though we have some arguments. I am at a point in life where i want to settle down and she said she will be ok also in a couple of years. Do you think it will make a difference as far as the life of this relationship? We really love each other.

I know a couple where the wife was graduating from college the same year the husband was born! They love each other very much still. Any amount of age difference doesn't really matter too much. Well, unless you're Hugh Hefner. Those girls only like him for his money.

i think you two will be just fine. i'm 17 and my boyfriend is 13. this is the happiest relationship i've ever been in. just don't push your girlfriend to get married until she's completely finished with her education. my best friend is 18 and her bf is 23 and is always bugging her about moving to accomodate to his life and what he wants. don't do that! i talk to her all the time about not doing that to herself but she doesn't listen. they want her to get pregnant so her parents will agree to them saying their vows. do you know how hard it is watching my best friend like that? man if you really love eachother then who cares? everybody ages at different speeds, but as long as yal are on the same thinking level, i don't see any problems. don't let the age factor get to you! both of you follow your hearts and everything will be ok! i wish you the best man!

you dont need to settle down so quickly. guys can wait until 30. so dont panic and enjoy being with her. 18 means she just became adult. let her reach the 20ies and she will be a bit more mature then for marriages etc. as she told you, wait a couple of years. dont worry about the arguments. all the couples have.

I'm not sure. I had a relationship like that once but it didn't work out. I think age is just a number but it all depends on how compatible you are. The older you get, the less it matters.

Well I think that if you two love each other then if you two will wait till she's ok with it,then go ahead,don't let age hold back true love!

age difference matters unless you know what you are doing. if you have just one two gf before her you are not ready. if she has one two bf before you she is not ready either. have fun and don't push it.
