I want to repaint a table for the living room and want the rustic look, how do I do it and what do I need to get from the store to be able to do it? Thanks for your help.

A faux finish is normally applied to give something an old, antique, two-toned, embedded or raised effect. There are varying techniques for doing this. I would suggest you check out your local library. They have many excellent material on this. Your Librarian could help you. Also try art stores or as previously mentioned, Home Depot or other hardware stores. Good Luck!

Go to a home inprovement store like Home Depot they have seminars to teach people how to faux finish, and they are free.
