I have NEVER called a creationist crazy. I think you are all very misled by a 2000+ year old book. You in fact are one who is very SERIOUSLY misled to believe that evolution doesn't exist. What I don't understand is why you can't believe in god AND believe in evolution. I have christian friends who believe in evolution. Yes the bible says the earth was created in six days. But how long was god's days??? It could have been billions of years. I have much more respect for christians who believe their god could have created all of this and used evolution AND the big bang as the method of creation. Why can't you people see that?

Oh yeah...and you really need to read some books on evolution and not rely on your minister or creationist websites for info. Evolution DOES NOT claim that an ape turned into a human. You really are showing your ignorance here. Why don't you try asking this in the Science section and see just how people react to you there?

Creationist: In 2008, Professor of biology alexandre meinesz highlighted the capture 22 situation. he stated that over the final 50 years " no empirical information helps the hypotheses of the spontaneous visual charm of existence in the international from no longer something yet a molecular soup, and no substantial improve in scientific understanding leads in this path." What does this information demonstrate? the place do toddlers come from? is incredibly-documented and uncontroversial. existence constantly comes from preexisting existence. in spite of the undeniable fact that, if we circulate decrease back some distance adequate in time, is it fairly possible that this basic regulation replaced into broken? would desire to existence fairly spontaneously spring from non-residing chemical compounds? What are the possibilities that such an adventure would desire to take place? Researchers have discovered that for a cellular to proceed to exist, a minimum of three categories of complicated molecules could paintings mutually-DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) , RNA ( ribonucleic acid), and proteins. in the present day, few scientists would assert that an entire residing cellular all of sudden shaped via twist of fate from a mix of inanimate chemical compounds. what's the possibility that RNA or proteins would desire to type via twist of fate?

Wow you really started something here. Looks as if many here have not answered your question. I believe it to be they all claim science has an answer but, they have been unable to produce. Do they know why evolution is a theory? Lets get educated folks. Because it is not a fact. Why is it not a fact? Because it didnt happen. Let me put just a little of the Bible here. Over 3000 years ago the Bible stated you can not count the stars. For thousand of years they scoffed see the Bible is not true making such a statement. The astronomers over the years have said see we can count them and they did. Then came the telescope. Now a few thousand years later scientist have concluded to agree with the Bible. We will never be able to count all the stars. Show me the fairy tale. And this prediction is not vague like all of Nostradamus'. If you need more do a little research instead of taking someone elses word. We have all this information but very little knowledge. Amen and Peace out........

No, you are claiming that a clump of dirt turned into a human. And that a rib from that human turned into another human.
That is not only science fiction, that's stupid.
It's a lot less believable than sharing a descendant with apes.

Do I believe that God created the world in 7 days etc. No, but then again that story was explaining creation to very primitive humans. I think it was anecdotal.

Do I believe that evolution (actually the correct term is natural selection) came up with humans by chance? No.

Humans beings have enormous and complex brains. This brain is very expensive to operate. That means that early man was burdened with offspring that were completely helpless for years. It means that early man had to provide enormous amounts of high quality protein in his diet to maintain this massive powerful but underutilized brain. Any honest student of natural selection will tell you that is very unlikely to happen strictly by the survival of the fittest. One ape would only have to be a little smarter to dominate. This does not explain the leap in evolution that brought man into the picture.

In my opinion, the bible and science are not necessarily in opposition. For instance what if God created man from another form of life like an ape? Perhaps trying to explain evolution to primitive humans who probably never saw an ape would not prove useful. Perhaps Adam and Eve were the first successfully altered primates. This approach seems to me, to explain the gaps in both science and the bible.

Anyway I offer this as another alternative explanation. Any biblical scholar who claims the bible is definitive is incorrect. Any scientist who claims that evolution is definitive is incorrect. Any human who professes that mankind had any real clue what happened is incorrect. About all we really know for sure is how little we know.

I'll do a quick translation of creationist talk.

Basically, most creationist arguments sound like this one against gravity:

"according to Newton's THEORY of Gravity, all the air should be solid. But it isn't! How dumb and wrong is gravity! Only crazy people would believe it"

Your claim shows why creationists are crazy, as no one said an ape turned into a human. Go back to your story book.

Go and look at this guys questions and you will see why atheism is on the rise. Religious fanatics trying to cover up science and knowledge because it conflicts with their notion of how the world should be.

Lets look at this as a metaphor.

You see a wall. Now you want to know where the wall comes from. You can do one of two things. You can get a pen and write a book about who made the wall and why he made it. Or you could take samples of it, study it's composition, look at pictures of similar walls, and realize that it's a naturally occurring cliff face. With this discovery you show people evidence and they say "DUDE THATS TOTALLY WRONG I READ THIS BOOK ABOUT A BUILDER IT MUST HAVE BEEN BUILT!"

So as you can see people prefer to trust fairy tales written by men long after creation rather then studies that prove to any reasonable person that the occurrence was natural and slow over time.

Um..go ask this in the science section. We'll see how much "Jesus" protects you from teh ridicule of 99% OF ALL THE SCIENTISTS INT THE WORLD!!!!! Honostly, I'm not surprised you don't understand evolution. But then again you don't understand gravity, or relativity, either. But because evolution contradicts your world view, you slander it with your creationism. Oh well, it's not like that sorry lack of facts you call creationism matters anyway.
