My husband is 66 and I am 65. Our only income is Social Security. No stocks bounds etc. No other income. Also at what age can you stop filing income tax forms? We live in Texas.

No, if your only income is social security, you don't have to file a federal return. But this year only, if you had long distance service on your phone anytime between March 03 and July 06, you should file a form 1040EZ-T to get a refund of telephone excise tax. The form is short and easy, and it'll get you $40. You can download a copy at irs.gov or pick one up at your local library.
