He didn't. The people who invented God didn't have the means to spread the delusion very far very fast.

I think it's not that he limited himself to the area around Israel, maybe he was seen differently by other parts of the world. There are multiple religions in the world, yet because of the European missionaries many of us are left to only believe in God one way. In someways, that's what makes people like my dad agnostic, in that they believe in a God but will not accept a specific religion or not say one way or another what is out there.

Untrue. The Quran clearly states that God send messengers to every people/nation

"And for every nation is a messenger. So when their Messenger comes, it will be judged between them in justice, and they will not be wronged." [Quran 10:47] And: "And We certainly sent into every nation a messenger, [saying]: 'Worship Allaah and avoid Taaghoot [i.e., false deities]'. And among them were those upon whom error was [deservedly] decreed. So proceed [i.e., travel] through the earth and observe how was the end of the deniers." [Quran 16:36]

These messengers are from every race and tribe and the last one was the Prophet Muhammed

One can see how in every corner of the world there are people who worship one God alone -Please read this fascinating article. Thank you

Because the people who created the biblical god had no awareness of other continents, other people. Yahweh was a local god, one of many local gods of that time.

One or more gods talked to all the areas of the world. Yahweh just didn't get around much but he was jealous of the others.

The creator didn't.

Genesis 2
1Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. 2And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. 3And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

He didn't. It was man's choice to choose his God based on his culture and surroundings. In Christendom, the idea was to spread the news to the world.

God did not pick a small area of the world, He picked one man, Abram, told him that his descendants would number like the sands of the seashore. From Abram came two sons, and one of them had two sons, and one of them had twelve sons, and it grew, and grew, and grew.
