Those who believe in the christian heaven should believe (according to their bible) that they will spend all their time worshiping god. Sounds like puppets to me.

Ya I remember having the same discussion about ten years ago. My question was, "If we're never sad in Heaven, how do we relate to happiness." Repeated experiences become known, and a bit more boring with the repetition. Without a contrast, we lose the concept. It's no longer feeling good.. but rather normal. Indeed if all we know is strife, we'd be completely unrelatable to Heaven if we got there. We are plainly expected to believe that it will be the place without problems. Which means we'll not be moving. After all, it would be illogical to move without a strife to overcome.

Christians don't comprehend that if there was one war in heaven, as their mythology tells them, there could be another. And another. And more. If angels could rebel once, according to their folklore, they could again. In fact, in that their angels are capable of greed and malice, etc., they probably would rebel, again.
The biblical Christian god changes his mind all the time. E.g., he chose Moses, then tried to kill Moses. He favored the Jews, then he turned away from them and blessed the Gentiles. And so on. According to their own set of beliefs, underneath their pretense otherwise, Christians have no certainty about eternity, or heaven, or anything.

I do consult God even with simple tasks, but I guess I do it because it makes me feel better. Man I must be a puss-hound. I used to be this macho over-the-top, lying to woman, doing drugs, blacking out and throwing up all over myself kind of rad party dude, now I feel more like a good person. Oh well, life is life.

A very interesting and thought provoking question (starred). Unfortunately I happen to be an atheist and have no answer... I'll be waiting with you to hear the believer's replies.

you have it very wrong ,going to heaven is a result of our will to love god love neighbour
even those in heaven can sin to the lowest depths witness satan fell with half the angels ,because he simply put could not obey the rules ,to whom much is given much is expected
but by the same token those in the lowest hells can rise into the heavens simply be acts of redemption
in seeking to save others we can save our selves ,each we save is a fruit ,each good is a chain [a link in the chain] that reaches to the highest being
you err grosly in the phrase giving up personal freedom and liberties [in hell your liberties are fully abused by those more vile than those that share your hell] in heaven alone are those who have discovered the joys of good works ,there all seek to serve each other
in hell each seeks alone to serve thier selves ,no one slaves for god , it is only when one works and lazy peaple stand aside [hell] that service is enforced by the most unspeakable horror
in heaven nop man could be called upon to serve others he would long a go have learned ther joy od shared service
in hell you work alone
in heaven we all help out for the joy of serving our equals or betters
[who are betters because they served before us also of joy not bondage]
with out god we are as beast [selfish ,me me men ]
with god our joy is to serve [do unto others]

i detect a twinge of bias here. Your are taking it to an unrealistic extreme. Yes we go through a purification process. We have all the liberties . Just no bad desires.

Being a Christian and being saved does not stop you from sinning, it gives you the chance to be forgiven for your sins. God understands that we will all be sinners until we leave this earth. He gave us the opportunity to be saved. The problem is a lot of people don't want to be saved unless they can do it on thier own terms. A lot of people don't want to be saved if they have to admit that thier sin is wrong.

doesnt make much sense does it.
i cant imagine feeling like "me" if every thought i have will have been siphoned. i also cant imagine not missing people i left on earth or people who "didnt make it" to heaven. yet we are told there will be no more tears.
