He feel over on hsi right side and was unable to make himself get back on his feet. He then went to the bathroom and seemed to be out of it.

We washed him and feed him and he is now ok, but wondering what symptoms of a stroke are for dogs?

We had an old dog who had a stroke. One of her symptoms was that she kept walking in circles, always in the same direction, kind of leaning to one side. Keep a good watch on your pet. Be a friend to him if he becomes too ill to have a quality life. Good luck!

That was either a sizure or a stroke. I would take him to the vet becuase either way he needs medical attention. At 14 yrs old he might be on his last leg. If it turns out that he had one or the other just try to make him as comfortable as possible.

It sounds like your dog had a seizure...i would take him to the vet as soon as possible and get him a good check up ....i recently lost my little poodle he started having seizures and it was because of his heart ....

I believe you saw him having a seizure. He needs to be seen by your vet. He's a senior citizen in the dog world and it is not unusual for this to happen at such an old age.
