I have a dog that sheds a lot. I sweep and then mop, but there is still hair left behind. Was wondering if anybody had any suggestions. Thanks.

I have a sheltie/rat terrier mix and I started using the Swiffer Vac. You get the benefits of a vac and a Swiffer all in one! Be sure to empty the filter often though. I find that it gets almost all the hair off the floor...much more than just a regular Swiffer. If you go to their website, they'll send you a free coupon book for $5.00 off and they usually only run around $25.00.

You could also try a rubber squeegee. Some beauty shop use them and I have one in my home just for that problem. You can buy them at Lowes. They can screw onto the end of a broom handle. They work the best. Vacuuming doesn't always pick up the hair. Sometimes times it just gets blown around. Sounds odd but its happened to me before I started using a squeegee.

Swiffer Sweeper! I don't know how I survived before it came on the market...I keep one with the dry pad on it at all times and as I go through the house (if I am empty handed) I run it around with me and it keeps the floors looking great, in spite of 2 shedding dogs and one shedding cat and even one husand....

I have the same problem. Even after you use a
broom and dustpan, the mob is covered in hair.

The best solution I have is to put the hose accessory
with attachment for wood floors and use that one the time.
I use it for the linoleum too.

Swiffer sweepers are awesome. They pick up everything. Use one of the dry towels to pick up the hair, then the wet ones to pick up everything else.

Vaccuum....The mop just moves the hair around, as does the broom.

Swiffer maybe but I'd go with a vacuum!
