If your curious as to the nature of this question, I found this recipe on a dog treat website, and am baking my newest puppy a cake, because he is graduating from puppy school later today and was curious as to how safe this is. Just a little piece though.

Yes these ingredients are all perfectly safe to use in a dog treat recipe, cinnamon will not harm your dog but you can leave it out if you want as its unecessary really. Some may say to use whole wheat flour instead but unbleached is ok to use too. Nowhere on any list of harmful foods for dogs is cinnamon listed, in fact it is used in many dog treat recipes and it is ok to feed your dog. In fact it has some benefits... Cinnamon like carob soothes the gastrointestinal tract. It helps with diarrhea, indigestion and digestive upsets. http://www.theskyesthelimit.com/Ingredients.htm

You're making banana cookies for your dog huh. Anyway all of those ingredients should be safe, you might cut down on the cinimon to 1 teaspoon though. Some dogs taste it as spicey.

RICKAFORD is most likely not a DR since one of his/her questions is "what could be the cause of my left breast pain". i would feel OK giving a small portion of that to my dog but then she eats almost everything except for spicy and some sauces our vet said are bad for dogs. table scraps are not bad for dogs, especially not meat and veggies. duh people dogs are carnivores, and ever heard of beneful. you give your little graduate whatever you want, just not large amounts in case of allergy or upset tummy. DID PEOPLE NOT READ she got this from a dog treat website!!!!

I personally would use a better flour than unbleached white. Try whole wheat, barley or rice flour, much healthier for humans and animals. Do a search for homemade dog biskets or treats, there are a ton of good ones.

No cinnamin. Dogs have a really hard time digesting human food. Its ok to give them a table scrap from time to time but don't feed them anything but dog food regularly unless you want to spend time & $$ at the vet.

It's best to use wheat flour instead of white flour. And you might not want to use to many bananas. They could give your dog diarhea. And don't use to much cinnamon. You might not want to use that many eggs.

This is a joke?

No, any type of wheat flour is not good for a dog.
Cinnamon can be a allergen or toxic.

Go on the baking site,

hmmm
i wouldn't be totally sure because some dogs may have some allergies, and could get very sick, take your dog to a vet and get them tested for allergies

not going to hurt the dog - if he got into one of your recipes ,,,, i would NOT recommend feeding this to a dog regularly,,,,,,, dogs have no use for butter, flour etc.
