Cranberry juice will help alleviate symptoms but please go to your doctor - a UTI can move to your kidneys and cause major complications.

If you are a frequent sufferer of UTI's (as I used to be), try drinking cranberry juice on a regular basis. Also drink lots of water, as they both help to flush out the urinary system. However, I advise that you visit a physician to be sure that it is an UTI and not something else. Also cranberries in any form can be helpful. I used to drink cranberry juice, but now I eat dried cranberries daily - either alone or in various foods.

Los of water to make you pee more and get the infection out. Also pickle juice works like a charm and cranberry juice. UTI's suck! I get them all the time since i am pregnant. These things work the best! Good luck!

Sometimes home remedies can save alot of money on medical expenses, but i really do think there are complications from an untreated uti. I really think you should see a doctor, this could be cleared up rather quickly with antibiotics.

Sadly no, But I am also prone to them. You should go to the doctor and get an antibiotic (Bactrum works well for me). To prevent them in the future, wipe front to back, pee right after sex (to help get rid of any bacteria in the urethra), and drink cranberry juice (or take cranberry supplements, such as AZO). Once you have the antibiotic, you can take Uristat for the pain, but you shouldn't take it beforehand, as it colors your urine orange, so it messes up the test. If it really hurts, drink alot of water (I mean constantly) and take a Uristat now, but don't take any more until after your doctor appointment. Good luck, and I know how uncomfortable it is!

You really need to go to the Dr and get n antibodies but until than just drink lots of water and cranberry juice. There is also an OTC pill call Urinstat that works awesome to take the pain and burning away until you can see the Dr.
UTIs are terrible I know I get them often.

Mix 2 tsp of apple cider vinegar and 1 tsp of honey and water. do this twice a day and you not have any problems. I came across this on the internet when I got a uti infection and it worked for me. also, apple cider vinegar has so many other benefits as well.

You can drink anything liquid. Water is just as good as cranberry juice, even a soda is ok.
The whole point is to make yourself urinate, which washes the bacteria out of your urinary tract.
The more you pee the better, even if it is painful you must do it to wash all the bacteria out.
Some men will drink beer, because it makes you urinate alot.
