They have fur, some dogs with hair are; Shih Tzus, yorkies, westies, Laspha Apsos, and poodles. You can usually tell that a dog has fur because most of the time they are short haired, or they look like a golden retriever's kind of fur.

As a golden doodle owner (hair) I'd guess that pugs have fur. If you have to ask, he's probably got fur, you'd know hair.

pugs have fur, and they shed allot, but they are fun loving and sweet dogs, i have one named max and he is so sweet, so i would for sure get one, oh and they don't bark much!!
