I'm using a Widget for my recycle bin, so I'd like to hide the one on the desktop. What's the easiest way to do this?

drag the very bottom left corner of the icon and move it to the very corner in the top right. If done correctly, the icon should be invisible and you should still be able to grab it.

There is a way in XP Pro, but it removes the recycle bin permanently, and anything you delete is also permanently removed, not stored in the recycle bin until you empty it. This is not a good idea, and not recommended except for very advanced users. Do a search for "remove recycle bin from desktop" without the quote marks.

Download Tweak UI from Microsoft. Just do a search on the site for it. It has a feature under Desktop to remove icons from your desktop.

Why do human beings insist on employing all that application crap and device care crap on their computers. that's somewhat, completely pointless and, as you will see, ultimately fuc*ks up your computing gadget. None of this shi* is mandatory on a trendy working device. do away with it and don't be a dumba$$.
