They all seem to be reading cue cards with no real background knowledge.

I agree 100%. I thought the exact same thing. It was so much better when the commentators and announcers where former drivers or crew cheifs and knew everything there was to know about the sport. Now, theres some old boring guy that rambles on for 6 minutes along with the other two whom i've never even heard of before.

Dude it wasn't as bad as them talking about stupid crap when if I switched from ESPN2 to ESPN I would see the racing. Couldn't stand watching that though. Nothing against the Mexicans and all but I don't want to watch a race in some language I don't understand. You'd think the two would have been showing the same things.

I wouldn't go as far as saying they're Gay, but they obviously are from basketball and dont have a great deal of NASCAR knowledge.
I like the FOX (i think) package.

dude, exactly...ive watched every busch race this year on espn and the mexican race on espn.com and they talk to us like we are the dummies. but since fox has the "pro" commentators its hard to get people that really know how to talk about nascar fluently. although rusty wallace knows his stuff he talks too simple like u don't know anything.

I thought Rusty was OK but the thing that bothered me the most is ESPN pandering to hispanics and making us go to ESPN 2 to hear it in English. They better remember better remember who their main audience is, and what language we speak.

I agree, and they can't stop talking about the same storyline. "All the Latino drivers", over and over. I know they're in Mexico and that's great but we ALL KNOW IT SO GET ON W/SOMETHING ELSE!

well obviously you know nothing about racing, because one of the announcers is Rusty Wallace. Do you even know who he is? God you nascar fans get dumber by the minute
