I was doing some re-writes on a story and somehow, the last 100 pages got deleted and the changes were saved. Now I'm left with a story that has the first 50 pages done and missing the last 100 pages. Can I somehow recover the pages lost? HELP! =)
P.S. At one time, I did save all 150 pages, so there might be a history of it being saved somewhere on my computer . . . woe is me =)

Open a backup copy of a document
To be able to recover the previous version of your document after a power failure or similar problem, you must have the Always create backup copy check box selected on the Save tab in the Options dialog box (Tools menu) before the problem occurs, and you must have saved the document more than once.
Click Open .
In the Files of type box, click All Files.
If you want to open a backup copy that was saved in a different folder, locate and open the folder.
Click the arrow next to Views , and then click Details.
In the Name column, the backup copy name appears as "Backup of document name"; in the Type column, the file type for the backup copy appears as "Microsoft Word Backup Document."
Locate and then double-click the backup copy to open it.
One other thing you can do is click File, then Open, then click History and see if an earlier version of your document is there. And finally, if you haven't emptied your Recycle Bin, your deleted pages may be there. Check there first.

Did you save it as the same name as the 150 pages. If so i'm afraid its lost but if you saved it under a different name you can open the first document and save it again!
