thats really not fast. it's actually pretty slow. average for a 14 y/o boy is 13 seconds, so 13.76 is more like what the girls would run on my track team. when i ran when i was in 9th grade (14) me and all the other freshman were under 13 seconds.

Not trying to be mean, but 13.76 for a 14 year old will not cut it with high school times. If you still have a desire to run the 100 you need to drop at least 3 to 3.5 second by your senior year. I would suggest that if you have some length trying the hurdles both the highs and intermediates. you can still practice speed and if make up for lack of it with better technique than the next guy

I was in track last year and i didnt run the 100 but my friends did and they ran it in about 13 seconds. I have seen faster but i think 13 seconds got some people into 2nd and 3rd place. So i would say yes

fast enough for your age, but you need to improve by about 2 seconds to be fast. At my school there was a guy who ran the 100m in 10.7 as a sophomore, but he was a beast. (Taylor Mays, starting USC free safety)
