predictive addresses and words?

i borrowed a friends computer and when you would type in a address or go to a search when you hit the key such as for your first name it would bring up several option that had already been typed in from that computer how do i find this or what is the name of the program? im running windows millenium i believe, thanks rob

This is simple....In your internet explorer go to tools and then goto internet options...Here you can disable the auto-complete feature.
