we were hanging out and he just kissed me off guard......but he says that we can only be friends because of some past drama that we had. why is he doing this when we can only be friends?

he's not sure what he wants. he might really want to be with you. but i wouldnt stress it too much. if n e thing you should jus kinda chill out and not hang wit him too much. he needs to think about alot of things. he's emotionally screwed up.

He must have kissed you off guard because he wanted to see how you would react. I'm sure there was some meaning behind that kiss. Mabye he's wanted to do that for a really long time or he likes you. Just go with the friends thing sometimes when you go into a relationship with one of your best guy friends and you break up it really does screw things up. Mabye he doesn't want that.

I think he wants to do more than just be friends, but is still trying to figure it out. Why don't you tell him to forget the past drama and live in the present? (That is, if you like him enough.) Besides, being friends is the first step; if you're patient, it may turn out great for both of you.

Men are special creatures and need special guidance. Obviously by that kiss and that remark he confused.If you really like him I think you should pursue taking the relationship to the next level but don't get you hopes up cause men are unpredictable.

He may have feelings for you, but is scared of getting hurt if it becomes more than a friendship.
Or, he may want sex, but no relationship.
Do you know him well enough to make an educated guess as to which?

without communication he is abusing your personal boundaries.. this kind of action is in-dick-ative leads to date rape types..
he does not care for you or he would have communicated some desire for you/to kiss you before hand.. just he fact that he took the liberty to take whht he wanted without your consent is a danger sign.. don't get drunk around him in a dark alley ok??
