Nah. Don't give her anything materialistic - you might freak her out if she views it as moving too fast. Rather, give her a good time during your first date. A CLEAN good time - you're only 14! [grins]

A gift on the first date isn't expected though it's kind that you thought of it . Just keep your money and perhaps if you see a little something when your both out together you can then buy it for her , otherwise just show her a good time and I'm sure she'll be quite happy with that . Good luck and I wish you a great time !

just treat her to a movie or restaurant. If you buy her something, even if its little on the first date, she might expect you to get her a little something for every date, and then be disappointed when you dont. Plus that could get expensive.

Buy her a gift when you reach a pivotal point in your relationship, that way a little something will mean more.

Good luck on your date!

Maybe just 1 carnation or some other flower, but definitely not a rose for the first date. My son does this for all his dates and has never been turned down for one yet. Girls talk.

don't get her anything unless you really happen to enjoy giving people gifts.
